Exile on Maine Street
What happened in 1972?
Six years after enlisting in the army during the Vietnam War, Brian Forsberg returns home to discover that Hiawatha County is not what he remembered. Businesses have closed, the teenagers are doing drugs, and vandalism and violence occur each weekend. At the heart of it all, a corrupt police chief now sleeps in the bed of his former mentor, who has been listed MIA in the closing days of the Vietnam War. To protect his community from the sinister forces preying upon it, he begins training to become a law officer, but as a series of unsolved crimes turn deadly, Forsberg might need to take matters into his own hands and ruin a career that hadn’t yet started.
