Around that time, I taught Cinema Production, and my Spring of 2002 students had a super ambitious script that involved a school hostage situation. What do these overachievers do? They rounded up both the city police chief AND a real life Blue Earth County Sheriff Deputy to help film this intense scene (we filmed outside of school hours to cause no alarm).
